With the advent of globalization, pride of place coupled with attractive
lifestyles and compelling arts and culture environments are essential
ingredients in the complex mix of factors affecting societies’
competitiveness. While rich in their own culture and heritage, many
societies in the Middle East have done little to share their heritage
with the rest of the world or to nurture international arts and
